Exxaro, in partnership with The Fashion Firm, is inviting applications for a six-month incubation programme designed to develop emerging creatives from selected host communities.
The programme aims to equip participants with valuable industry knowledge, business skills, and professional mentorship to help them build sustainable careers in the creative sector.
About the Programme
Successful applicants will participate in masterclasses led by industry experts covering:
- Fashion business and professional practice
- Jewellery design
- Gallery systems
- Art collection
- Copyright and intellectual property
- Creative entrepreneurship
The programme is designed to empower young creatives while connecting local talent to national and international markets.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 40 years old
- Be a South African citizen or legally residing in South Africa with valid documentation
- Be from one of the following Exxaro host communities:
- Leeuwpan Mine (Victor Khanye Local Municipality)
- Belfast Mine (eMakhazeni Local Municipality)
- Matla Mine (Emalahleni Local Municipality)
- Grootegeluk Complex (Lephalale Local Municipality)
- Submit a lookbook or portfolio showcasing their work.
